Aufräumarbeiten
Wer bei großen Suchmaschinen nach dem Begriff “Flyerpilot” sucht, weil er günstige Flyer, Leporellos oder Visitenkarten drucken lassen möchte — so wie ich, der demnächst Visitenkarten braucht — findet zwischen Links zu verschiedenen Domains von Flyerpilot auch viele Erfahrungsberichte, von denen allerdings viele negativ und manche ausgesprochen schnoddrig ausfallen.
Manch ein Geschäftsmann, der seine Firma derart kritisiert sieht, könnte auf die Idee kommen, den Service zu verbessern und gezielt auf positive Kritik hinzuarbeiten. Eine recht wirksame Taktik besteht meist darin, dem unzufriedenen Kunden einen Gutschein anzubieten und den daraus resultierenden Auftrag penibel korrekt abzuwickeln. Vielleicht verbunden mit der Bitte, diesen Beweis der Kundenfreundlichkeit wenigstens als Update zum betreffenden Blogeintrag aufzunehmen. Man muss sich beim Kunden nicht einschleimen — es gibt schließlich einige ständige Nörgler — aber ein konstruktiver Umgang mit Kritik schlägt sich schnell in den Beurteilungen durch Blogs und Verbraucherseiten nieder.
Flyerpilot hat sich offenbar für eine andere Methode entschieden und mahnt nun den Betreiber des Blogs ab, dessen etwas schnoddrig formulierter Erfahrungsbericht in den letzten Tagen und Wochen bei Google auf Platz zwei stand — Gegenstandswert 250.000€. Pikantes Detail: nicht nur der Blog-Eintrag soll verschwinden, sondern der Blogger soll auch Google kontaktieren und um Entferung des etwa ein Jahr alten Beitrags aus dem Cache bitten. Ihm wird vorgeworfen, das hohe Ranking durch einen Suchmaschineneintrag verursacht zu haben. Die Anwälte von Flyerpilot verstehen wohl nicht, dass es vor allem eingehende Links sind, die das Ranking einer Seite bestimmen.
Offenbar ist Flyerpilot nicht klar, dass ein derartiges Vorgehen eher kontraproduktiv ist. Selbst wenn Google den fraglichen Eintrag aus dem Cache löscht, rutscht der nächste auf — ein Forum, in dem nicht gerade wohlwollend über Flyerpilot diskutiert wurde. Und wenn dieser gelöscht wird…
Mit den Visitenkarten warte ich noch ein paar Wochen. Vielleicht nimmt Flyerpilot Kritik ja ernst und bemüht sich verstärkt um zufriedene Kunden. Ich bin sicher, dass sich dann schnell positive Erfahrungsberichte bei der Suche nach Flyerpilot finden. Ganz ohne Abmahnung.
Update: Offenbar geht es Flyerpilot nicht um den Blogeintrag, sondern um Kommentare, in denen die Privatadresse der Geschäftsführerin genannt wird. Nachvollziehen kann ich den Frust darüber. Kein Verständnis habe ich für die gewählten Mittel und die Medieninkompetenz der beauftragten Anwälte. Wäre von vorneherein klar gewesen, um was es eigentlich geht, hätte auch Walter früher reagieren können. Schließlich haftet ein Forenbetreiber (die Kommentarfunktion eines Blogs ist nichts wesentlich anderes als ein Forum) erst bei positiver Kenntnis. Für diese muss man sich jedoch unmißverständlich ausdrücken können.

Ein Erstkontakt vor einem guten halben Jahr, bei dem es um den Blog-Eintrag selbst ging ohne dass bereits ein Kommentar mit der Adresse der Geschäftsführerin existierte.
